Photo: ReutersBengaluru: Budget airline AirAsia India said it will add a 180-seater Airbus A320 to its domestic fleet next month and commence operations on new routes. It halted the plan over the so called 5/20 rule that requires airlines to have a five-year domestic track record and a fleet of 20 planes to fly on international routes. In June, the Union cabinet partly diluted the rule, doing away with the five-year criterion but retaining the requirement of 20 aircraft.
