AirAsia cancels 32 flights to and from Bali after volcano eruption - Nation


PETALING JAYA: AirAsia has cancelled 32 flights to and from Bali and Lombok and rescheduled two other flights following the eruption of Mount Agung on Sunday (Nov 26). The low cost carrier said in a statement that affected passengers would be notified of their flight status and their available options via e-mail. Passengers are advised to check their flight status via the “Manage My Booking” feature on the AirAsia website. According to AirAsia, passengers affected by the flight are entitled to change to a new travel time on the same route within 30 calendar days from the original flight without additional cost. A national disaster agency official said that the island’s airport 70km south of the volcano remains operational.
