(Photo: Mae Fah Luang airport Facebook)Airports of Thailand (AoT) is offering six blocks of commercial land for rent close to three major airports under a plan to generate revenue from unused land. One block is near Chiang Mai airport, two inside Mae Fah Luang airport in Chiang Rai and three near Phuket airport. AoT said it aims to use land development to enhance its position as an economic and tourism hub. AoT said it also has plans for the commercial development of large areas of land in and around Suvarnabhumi airport.
