KUALA LUMPUR: Ajinomoto (M) Bhd (Ajinomoto Malaysia) announced yesterday the appointment of Naoko Yamamoto as its managing director (MD). Ajinomoto Malaysia told Bursa Malaysia that Yamamoto joined Japan-based Ajinomoto Co, Inc in 1991. “Ms Yamamoto joined Ajinomoto Co Inc Japan in 1991 and began her career with the Fukuoka branch and has since held various positions in Japan and overseas within the Ajinomoto group of companies,” Ajinomoto Malaysia said. It also announced two executive directors’ (EDs) appointments. Yamamoto, Suzuki and Yamashita replace Ajinomoto Malaysia’s three former directors, who resigned last Friday.
