RLD chief Ajit Singh has categorically ruled out having any alliance with the BJP post the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. Speaking exclusively to India Today aboard his chopper while campaigning in western UP, Ajit Singh stated that no formal negotiations took place between the RLD the SP and the Congress. Though he did say that people in the state would have been much happier if such an alliance had taken place.
