NOIDA: Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday set his foot in Noida , months after demitting the office of the chief minister. Akhilesh was on his way to Delhi from Saifai when he stopped over briefly in Noida.While in office, Akhilesh kept away from Noida because of the "visit Noida, and lose power" superstition.Akhilesh had travelled from Saifai via the Yamuna expressway, which connects Greater Noida with Agra. From Greater Noida, the Samajwadi Party chief then drove to Noida via the Noida-Greater Noida expressway. "The SP leader did not wait for long and his convoy moved towards DND from the Mahamaya flyover," said Layak Singh, traffic inspector, Noida. "He again stopped over for five minutes on the DND where some party workers were waiting to greet him.
