Former IEBC Commissioner Roselyn Akombe has returned to Kenya after being away for almost six years. Akombe posted photos of herself captioned "No place like home! She fled the country to New York, United States in 2017, a week before the slated presidential elections re-run, on October 26. In an interview with BBC, she said she had fled in fear for her life, recalling Chris Msando's murder, which happened before the August 2017 elections. I have never felt the kind of fear that I felt in my own country," Akombe said.
