CAIRO-6 March 2021: Al Ahly men’s basketball team defeated Zamalek 112-106 on Friday night in the Egyptian League. Al Ahly players achieved an important victory at home as they leveled the score in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter despite behind behind since the start of the match. “All the players put on a great performance, showing a great deal of perseverance and determination despite being late in the score during the first three quarters of the match.” Al Ahly’s pivot Omar Tarek told the club’s official website. “It was a difficult match but it was a good opportunity to cement the team’s fighting spirit. We fought till the end and achieved an important victory.” Al Ahly’s captain Mody El Garhy said after the match.
