Al-Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince urge Gaza ceasefire, implementation of Trump peace plan
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have stressed the need for all parties to commit to a Gaza ceasefire and implement the “Trump” peace plan, the Egyptian presidency said on Monday. He also congratulated the Crown Prince on Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day. The meeting included a closed bilateral session followed by a Ramadan Iftar banquet hosted by the Crown Prince in honour of the Egyptian president and his delegation. The Crown Prince welcomed the visit, describing the relationship between the two nations as “pivotal” and expressing a desire to enhance ties to serve the interests of both peoples. The Crown Prince later accompanied Sisi to King Abdulaziz International Airport for his departure.
