West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said that Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay has retired today on May 31 from his service, he is not going to join in Delhi." I will not allow Alapan Bandyopadhyay to leave Nabanna. He is now the Chief Adviser to Chief Minister," said West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. "Our chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay retired today; he will continue as chief advisor to CM for next three years," Mamata Banerjee further said. Mamata Banerjee said that Centre replied to her letter and asked chief secretary to join North Block tomorrow.
