The Clutha Valley Lions Club held its two-yearly Clydevale Farming Expo on March 1, and organisers were pleased with the turnout. Many exhibitors reported good sales and it was a good opportunity to network with clients. In addition to the expo, the Lions ran an export lamb competition, which attracted 135 lambs. Ashley May, of Clydevale, won the overall trophy. A sheep shears competition was held at the end of the day and Hamish Erwood, of Clydevale, won the title for the second year running.
