Share:ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister’s Advisor on Finance Shaukat Tarin said Sunday that the government is working on a long-term strategy to strengthen national economy on sustainable basis. Shaukat Tarin said Information Technology sector exports increased by 47 per cent during the last year and other sectors are also showing growth. While talking to reporters after the ceremony, the Advisor on Finance said that all matters with IMF will be settled soon. Shaukat Tarin also said the government would give the nation good news about the stalled $6 billion International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme soon. The PM’s advisor said Pakistan can also expect a financial support package amounting to $3 billion from Saudi Arabia “in the next few days”.
