Liverpool have enjoyed a stellar season so far, with Jurgen Klopp’s men having dropped just two points in the Premier League after 21 matches. The Reds are currently 14 points clear of reigning champions Manchester City and look destined to secure their first top-flight title since 1989/90. However, Liverpool still have bragging rights over the most points accumulated in the top flight, comfortably outscoring the Red Devils. A new live graphic from noobnorm.com has visualised the accumulation of points since the very first Football League campaign in 1888 – and it’s Liverpool who come out on top. The data does not take into account results from the 2019/20 season but the Reds are still top of the tree, having earned 6846 points.
