PETALING JAYA: All transport and logistics sub-sectors are allowed to operate at optimum levels for the next fortnight with strict compliance to Covid-19 standard operating procedures throughout the lockdown, says the Transport Ministry. “The ministry wishes to bring more clarity to our stakeholders by providing a full list of permitted activities that fall under the transport and logistics sub-sectors, ” it said. On lockdown SOPs, the ministry said only two people, including the driver, were allowed to be in any private vehicle, regardless of capacity. As for taxis and e-hailing vehicles, only two people including the driver are allowed in the vehicle at any point, regardless of capacity. As for public transport, all operators of land and sea transportation are allowed to operate at 50% capacity.
