HALIFAX—Three people were arrested and face multiple charges after an alleged theft and a 45-minute chase around Dartmouth Saturday afternoon. Halifax Regional Police said in a news release that a report of a theft came in at 3:15 p.m. from the Best Buy in Dartmouth Crossing. The suspects fled in an orange Pontiac Vibe, police say, and crashed into a parked car. Halifax Regional Police say they arrested three people after a theft and a 45-minute chase around Dartmouth Saturday afternoon. “While fleeing police, the suspect vehicle struck a marked police van with two officers head on,” the release says.
