Ports in Western Leyte, Southern Leyte, Eastern Leyte, Western Samar, Northern Samar, and Biliran monitored 7,164 passengers. Negos Oriental, Negros Occidental, and Siquijor ports monitored 4,654 passengers while ports in Surigao del Norte, Lanao del Norte, Camiguin, Dinagat, Agusan del Norte, and Siargao had 4,539 passengers. Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard also said that they have deployed more than 60 coast guard personnel, as well as vessels, to conduct search and rescue operations in areas affected by tropical depression “Usman.”
