Afeez HanafiLagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Wednesday inaugurated the governing council of the Citizens Mediation Centre, urging members of the council to provide free and effective alternative dispute resolutions. Ambode, at the inauguration held at the Lagos House in Ikeja, said his administration would continue to ensure the growth and expansion of the CMC in recognition of the important role the centre played in mediating in disputes. The governor said the centre was apt for a populous and economically buoyant state like Lagos for easier and faster resolution of matters. The governing council is chaired by Justice Olayinka Gbajabiamila (retd.) and has Mrs. Oluwatoyin Ogunsanya, Mrs. Omololu Adesina, Mrs. Amanda Asagba, Mr. Iskil Lawal, Mr. Tokunbo Jaiye-Agoro and Mrs. Yinka Odukoya, as members.
