American Michael Kelley appears in court charged with murder of Kerry farmer Mike GaineAmerican Michael Kelley has been charged with the murder of Michael Gaine at his farm in Kenmare. Sgt Mark O'Sullivan of Killarney Garda Station gave evidence of the arrest and charge of Mr Kelley this afternoon at Castleisland Garda Station. He told the court that he cautioned Mr Kelley and at 3.06pm he read him the charge after caution. Kerry solicitor Pat Mann, who is representing Mr Kelley, told the court that he had no questions with regard to the procedure. Judge David Waters said there was no question of bail, which must be sought from the High Court for murder, and Mr Kelley was remanded in custody.
