Longtime soap opera actor Jay Pickett has “passed away suddenly” while filming a movie in Idaho, the United States. Pickett, 60, was on the Treasure Valley set when he died Friday (July 30), director Travis Mills said Sunday (Aug 1) in a statement online. “Everyone present tried as hard as they could to keep him alive,” Mills wrote. He was one of the best actors I ever worked with and it was an honour to collaborate with him,” Mills wrote. “He was doing what he loved: acting, riding horses, making movies,” Mills wrote.
