Younger Americans, in particular, are driving this change. For them, the human cost of war is no longer filtered through official briefings or legacy media narratives. Many Americans still recognize Israel’s right to exist and defend itself. Americans are asking harder questions about power, responsibility, and the true cost of war–not only for those directly affected, but for the values the United States claims to uphold. Whether this awakening leads to meaningful policy change remains uncertain.
