Finalists and honorees for the 46th Los Angeles Times Book Prizes were announced Wednesday. Advertisement Advertisement"The Joy Luck Club" author Amy Tan will be honored with this year's Robert Kirsch Award for lifetime achievement. Nonprofit We Need Diverse Books and novelist Adam Ross will receive the Innovator’s Award and Christopher Isherwood Prize for Autobiographical Prose, respectively. Winners in the remaining categories will be revealed at the 46th L.A. Times Book Prizes on April 17 at USC’s Bovard Auditorium. The ceremony is a prelude to the annual L.A. Times Festival of Books, which this year runs April 18-19.
