Govindarajan, founder of Bengaluru-based Paper Crane Lab, a non-profit focused on making STEM education more accessible, is among 12 artists participating in a month-long Art of Code exhibition at Social New BEL Road. , Bengaluru, in collaboration with Tezos India, showcases a collection of digital art created using creative coding. “We are focusing on Indian-origin artists who use code to express themselves,” says Varun Desai, head of Tezos India Art and Culture (TIAC). “It was curated among coders who were using blockchain, but also some who were not. “Over time it became more conceptual,” he says, like a traditional artist using Paint or a digital artist using specific drawing software, a typical artist using lines of code to create art.
