ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Before the adrenaline-soaked film Ambulance premiers in theaters Friday, April 8, the Missouri History Museum remembers a local and history bank heist. On April 24, 1953, robbers held up the Southwest Bank on South Kingshighway and Southwest Avenue. Missouri History Museum Managing Director of Public History Jody Sowell gives us a history lesson.
