A top terrorist involved in the attack on Hurriyat leader's house in Srinagar was among three ultras killed in a brief encounter at Kokarnag in Anantnag district. Police said acting on the credible leads of presence of terrorists, security forces launched cordon and search operation in the Hakoora village of Anantnag district. In the encounter three militants were killed", said a police spokesman. A large cache of arms and ammunition including AK 47 rifles, pistols, hand grenades were recovered from the encounter site. One of the slain terrorists Eesa Fazili was involved in a recent attack on a police guard post at the residence of moderate Hurriyat leader Fazal Haq Qureshi at Bilal Colony Soura.
