Wolves are set to complete a loan move for Marseille's England midfielder Angel Gomes. Talks have been ongoing between the clubs over a return to the Premier League for the former Manchester United player. Sources are indicating a deal is at an advanced stage over an initial loan that will include an option to buy. The 25-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United, where he made 10 senior appearances. Gomes has four England caps, all made under former caretaker manager Lee Carsley, but his last international appearance was in October 2024.
