In its new figures published today, Screen Ireland said combined productions in the State generated €357m total investment here, including in salaries, in 2019. Screen Ireland said it plans to appoint its first representative in Los Angeles later this year to liaise with potential financial and creative partners in Hollywood. The film and TV promotion body credited recent changes to Ireland's tax incentive scheme for "requiring producers to provide skills development programmes for talent of all levels on set".
