According to Ms Dolphina Alego, the Court’s Senior Principal Magistrate, everyone was stunned by the incident that comes barely a day after their colleague in Nakuru — Resident Magistrate Eunice Kelly — was attacked and stabbed several times. Ms Alego said it was then that she learnt that a suspect had attacked her colleague. “The magistrate ducked immediately and rushed out of the court room,” says Ms Alego. “He attacked the magistrate while in the process of trying to arbitrate the matter,” she explained.
