Another thunderstorm warning in place for MidlandsAnother yellow thunderstorm warning is in place today (Sunday) for counties in the Midlands and much of the West and North West. Met Éireann is predicting thunderstorms bringing frequent lightning, heavy downpours, gusty winds and the chance of hail. The warning is in place for counties Westmeath, Longford, Offaly, Roscommon as well as Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Mayo, Monaghan, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford. There may also be localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions in some areas. The weather warning came into force this morning and will remain in place until 10pm.
