State Minister for Youth and Sports Jahid Ahsan Russel distributed prizes among the winners at the Victory Day Cycling in Dhaka Saturday BCFThe event was organized to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur RahmanBangladesh Ansar cyclists made the Victory Day Cycling Competition their very own by dominating the podium with four gold medals, one silver and three bronzes at Bangabandhu National Stadium athletic track in Dhaka Saturday. Ansar’s Rifat Hossain brought two golds for his side – in the juniors’ 6,000m race and the 4,000m mountain bike race. Ansar also won gold in the women’s 2,000m team pursuit through the efforts of Rumi Akhter, Shahida, Tithi Biswas and Lima Akter. A total of 207 cyclists will take part in Saturday’s Mujib Barsho Victory Day Cycling Competition 2020 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. The event was organized to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
