The Frenchman had initially been ruled out for the season when he damaged knee ligaments while playing for France in the last international break. But L’Equipe claim that Martial has stepped up his recovery by ‘resuming’ training, though it’s unclear whether the forward has trained with his team-mates just yet. Nevertheless, it’s a positive sign that Martial could feature in the run-in, with United expected to book their place in the Europa League final on Thursday given their 6-2 aggregate lead against Roma. But United will still have four league games to play after that, as well as the Europa League final.
