Now the anti-establishment raiders will have a better foothold to try to transform the European Union from the inside out. With more than 400 million eligible voters, the European Parliament elections are the second-largest exercise in democracy in the world, after India’s national elections. The legislature has a voice in some of the biggest issues facing the European Union.
