Mary Anastasia O’Grady deserves gratitude for digging up Antonio Gramsci (“The Culture Wars and the Street Wars,” Americas, June 8). It is incomprehensible why his name seems to have vanished into obscurity while his revolutionary strategy triumphed in the past half-century for all to see. Gramsci taught that not bloody Bolshevik terror but the patient process of undermining all institutions of Western culture would ultimately make the revolution succeed. This applies to government, education, churches, marriage and the family. Theologically speaking, this destructive program targets the orders of creation.
