PUTRAJAYA: PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pic) said he did his duty as former deputy prime minister by giving information requested by the special task force investigating Bank Negara's foreign exchange losses suffered in the 1990s. However, he said he was not given documents to assist him in the matter. I was only given a day's notice (to appear before the task force)," he told reporters after his application hearing at the Court of Appeal here Wednesday. The Cabinet has appointed former Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan to head the task force. The task force will submit its recommendations to the Government on any further action required, such as the need to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry.
