In the past couple of months, the second wave of coronavirus has taken plight in Pakistan with cases rising exponentially. The latest one to have tested positive for Covid-19 is veteran literary figure Anwar Maqsood, his family confirmed to the Express Tribune. According to his son Bilal Maqsood, Anwar had undergone multiple tests after his condition had deteriorated. "Living legend Anwar Maqsood is unwell, please pray for his early recovery," Shah said in the Facebook post. Anwar recently launched a show with a similar format as the iconic series Loose Talk which he wrote and starred in alongside the late legend Moin Akhtar.
