After five years with the Eagles, Rohr tutored the Super Eagles to a third-place finish at AFCON 2019 and failed to lead the team past the group stage of the 2018 World Cup. The Super Eagles striker opened the scoring in the first minute of the game as he sent the fans at the Teslim Balogun Stadium to rapturous celebrations.
