It’s fair to say that Apple and Samsung haven’t always been the best of friends. This startling new arrangement - the first of its kind in the TV world - will enable Samsung TV owners in more than 100 countries to access iTunes movies and TV shows (in 4K and HDR where available) from this spring. Samsung hasn’t yet released a full list of every 2019 and 2018 TV that will be getting the iTunes/AirPlay features. It's worth adding that getting iTunes on a Samsung TV will mean you won't get the Dolby Vision support available through the Apple TV 4K box and Dolby Vision-capable TVs. It's also not clear yet if the iTunes platform on Samsung TVs will support Dolby Atmos.
