Apple Inc.’s reality-distortion field will be put to good use if the company finally goes in-house for the processors on its Mac computers. Such a move has been anticipated for years given the company’s success at designing its own chips for the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Reality may now be closer at hand. Bloomberg reported Tuesday that Apple could announce its first in-house processor for the Mac at the online version of its Worldwide Developers Conference that is set to start on June 22.
