Apple wants me to return the entire watch, including the band, in order ... [+] to replace the defective band. Apple still isn’t letting you return just the strap for your Apple Watch, or at least is doing so inconsistently. People who bought the new fitted Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop strap in the wrong size were being forced to return the entire purchase: Apple Watch and Apple Watch strap in order to ... just ... get ... a ... new ... strap. If it slips out while I’m walking or exercising, I’m at risk of losing or damaging the entire Apple Watch. For me, the nearest Apple store is an hour away, and that means perhaps three hours out of my day if all goes well at the Apple Store.
