Higher prices for new models combined with the phaseout of older devices should lift Apple's average selling price for the iPhone this year. The new iPhone prices mean the company is now selling handsets ranging from $449 to $1,449. The company no longer directly sells the iPhone X, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus or iPhone SE, which last year started at $349. Its prediction for fiscal 2019 iPhone sales is that 38% of iPhones sold will be the iPhone XR, 12% will be the XS Max and 9% will be the XS. It is raising its ASP estimate to $791 for the year, up 7% from last year.
