Starting left tackle D.J. Humphries and starting guards Mike Iupati and Justin Pugh ended the season on the injured list, and the Cardinals were forced to start nine different offensive line combinations. Gilbert is expected to start at right tackle, and the Cardinals know a little bit about him inasmuch as he played for Cardinals offensive line coach Sean Kugler for two seasons in Pittsburgh. Andre Smith, signed to play right tackle in free agency last year, was released in November. Primarily a right guard in his first five seasons, Sweezy was used at left guard in Seattle last year, helping the Seahawks run the ball with success.
