Armed Forces Veterans' Hub returns at Maidenhead Fire Station

A drop-in event offering a space for veterans, serving personnel, reservists, and their families to speak with like-minded people will take place in Maidenhead on Friday. The Armed Forces Veterans’ Hub is back at Maidenhead Fire Station from 10am to 1pm, with representatives from a range of organisations and charities available to offer advice and support. The upcoming event in Maidenhead will feature a group from the Royal Hospital Chelsea (Chelsea Pensioners), and RBFRS fire cadets from Maidenhead Fire Station. Paul Brooks, head of assets and RBFRS Armed Forces lead officer, said: “Veterans and service personnel bring a wealth of experience, skills, and values that closely align with those of the Fire and Rescue Service sector. “The Armed Forces Veterans’ Hubs reflect our commitment to ensuring that members of the Armed Forces community are supported, valued, and not disadvantaged as they transition to civilian life or if they have already left their respective service.
