RCMP have arrested a suspect who evaded police after a carjacking in central Alberta on Monday. Wednesday morning, Blackfalds RCMP issued a news release saying they had an arrest warrant for the suspect. The suspect had been wanted on numerous charges after a Monday afternoon carjacking on a rural road following a two-vehicle collision in central Alberta. The driver of the pickup truck wasn't hurt in the crash but he suffered injuries in a struggle with the suspect. But police later determined the suspect, wearing white camouflage and carrying a white bag and a rifle, had fled the property on a snowmobile before they had the area contained.
