KOTA KINABALU: The so-called supply disruptions at several petrol stations in Sabah were due to logistical delays, says Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali. “The delays were attributed to a surge in demand during the festive season, which temporarily slowed delivery schedules. Armizan gave an assurance that Malaysia is not facing any shortage of petrol, diesel or cooking gas. He reiterated that fuel supply remains sufficient and stable nationwide, with Malaysia’s situation far more secure compared to several neighbouring countries currently experiencing disruptions. Armizan said his ministry is continuously monitoring the situation and has taken measures to ensure smooth distribution and prevent recurrence of such shortages.
