Thirteen illegal immigrants were arrested and four traffic fines were issued after a joint, disruptive roadblock. Members of the Hennenman police, Welkom K9 unit, Vehicle Crime Investigation unit, along with provincial traffic and Matjhabeng traffic units held a joint roadblock on the R70 road between Hennenman and Ventersburg on Friday (18/08). Thirteen undocumented immigrants were found and arrested. Four traffic related fines valued at R2 700 were issued and the vehicles were searched. The vehicle owners will appear in the Hennenman Magistrates’ Court on 21 August.
