According to Sport , the Arsenal and Liverpool defenders have emerged as top targets alongside Atletico Madrid man Filipe Luis. They are both out of contract in the summer and likely to depart their clubs after struggling for playing time this season. Yet they could land on their feet with a shock move to the Nou Camp as short-term defensive cover on a two-year deal. They will now turn their attentions on securing experienced backup on the cheap as they target a free transfer for either Moreno, Monreal or ex-Chelsea man Luis.
