Report aired on state radio, the ELBC from River Cess County speaks of the continual killing of innocent people in that part of the country allegedly for ritualistic purposes as Liberia’s legislative and presidential elections draw closer on October 10, 2017. A Correspondent of ELBC in his live report via mobile phone said the issue of ritualistic killings in the county has overwhelmed citizens and residents who the Correspondent noted has created fears in parents whose kids leave their respective homes to walk to school daily. After she was discovered by her parents in the bush tied, the victims told her parents that those who tied her had early promised to slaughter her at night time. This case according to the Correspondent, is among several others cases of ritualistic killings of innocent citizens with other been missing and their whereabouts are unknown. This situation has compelled parents of school going kids to pulled their children our of school until the October 10 election is over.
