Like it or not, we’re living in a Presto world now, Jan. 2The Star’s article on Presto, as usual, had a strong emphasis on TTC use of Presto and a negative tone. Out of the 11 users quoted, only two are GO train users. Presto has been used for 10 years on the GO train system. GO train users, I have used it for 10 years now and as a daily commuter, I find it incredibly useful on GO trains, TTC and Oakville buses. I find the constant negative tone about Presto in the Toronto Star to be annoying as it does not fit with our experience at all and appears to be an inexplicable bias against it.
