The husband of a Pakistani Christian woman acquitted on charges of blasphemy has begged Theresa May to grant his wife and their family asylum in the UK. The overturning of Bibi’s death sentence infuriated Islamists and on Thursday a petition was filed calling on the supreme court to reverse its verdict.
