Hong Kong (CNN Business) Asian markets fell sharply Monday as the number of coronavirus cases around the world crossed more than 10 million, with at least half a million deaths. Nikkei 225 N225 Kospi KOSPI Hang Seng Index HSI Shanghai Composite SHCOMP Japan'sdeclined 2%. On Friday, the Dow tumbled more than 700 points as some states were forced to pause their reopening amid rising Covid-19 cases. Upticks have been reported in 36 states , including Florida, which some experts have cautioned could be the next epicenter for infections. Officials there and across the United States are also warning of an increase in cases among younger people.
