Monrovia - Ahead of the November 7 Presidential runoff between the ruling Unity Party (UP) and the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), the South-eastern University Students Association (SUSA) has endorsed the candidacy of Vice President Joseph Boakai. The Association described VP Boakai as a tolerant, transparent and nationalistic public servant, who has devoted his time and energy in serving the people of Liberia without been involved corrupt practices. The press statement further stated that they as students hailing from the south-eastern part of Liberia are prepared to campaign in that part of the country in making sure that VP Boakai is elected as the next President of Liberia. The students association said their decision to back the presidential bid of VP Boakai over Senator Weah is because of the CDC standard Bearer inexperienced to represent the country both locally and internationally because of his poor educational background. Finally, we are prepared to campaign in all parts of the south-eastern region of Liberia to ensure that VP Boakai wins the Liberian presidency overwhelmingly,” they assured.
